. .Because You Were All I Had. .

No matter what Happened to You & Me
In the End of our Short Tale of Despair. .
Your Cleansing Embrace will Forever
Live on with me. .
The way I Loved you. .so Fragile. .
Your Precious Soul. .Dwells Softly within
Those Gentle Eyes.
You Cared for me so. .Knowing that a Family
Not of my own would treat me the way they Once did. .
Only you Knew of this. .
Running your Fingers through my Hair,
Your Kiss would Melt my Heart,
You would Remind me of my own Beauty,
When I was Told Different. .
You were all I had. .
Until that Sudden Day you were taken from me,
A Tragedy Truly not Meant to be . .
My Soul had Perished from its Vessel. .
I Lost the Only Love my Heart Knew. .
I Failed to Eat, for Nights on End. .
It was Tasteless to me. . .
I Reminisce their Laughs of your Death. .
The Cruel Words they would Speak of a Boy so Young. .
Of a Love they did not Know.
I Grew Dark, to Veil my Deep Pain, but in the Far Night. .
My Endless Tears would Rain. .Our Hope was Gone. .
My Mind had Left me. .
He had taken my Heart with him,
Though I was Blind to Remember that I too. .
Held His Heart. .
The Treasured Key to Our Reuniting.
And so. .The Moment that I Realized not a thing
Was Left in Our Tale of Despair. .I wasn’t about to
Live in Empty Misery. . .
So I Departed. .in the Essence of Anew. .
That Family not of my own was Happy to
Discover my Departure, but what they Knew not of,
Was that I was Safe with you. .
And you were Safe with me. .
Time had Offered us Two Paths for a New Beginning,
To Reside in the Same Place in which we Lived Together. . .
Or to go Our Separate ways. .
And Live a More Blissful Life. .
You are a Deep Soul Mate of Mine. .
I need you to Reminisce that I was Forever yours First. .
And you were Forever Mine from the Start. .
So Until Next Time. .Please, Do not Forget. .
That Once Upon a Life. .You were all I had. . .

Very sad, Lynette. Was it his family that tore this couple apart, or did he pass away? If it was his family, perhaps they can try again. But I guess it would be difficult if they continued to try to come between two lovers. Almost sounds like a Romeo & Juliet theme. Beautifully written and a very moving story. I know you made this up, but this type of thing happens often. Love, Carolyn

Got my attention ...Question ?Was not sure if this young man died or was killed or what? Very expressive of grief of the loss of someone dear to us...I have not experienced that kind of loss but my mother died when I was fifteen months...I can not remember the event but I feel it in my spirit...It has effected my whole life...Let the inspiration overflow onto the keyboard and bless us with your gift...Sara

Smile ~ Well, whatever the name of the poem shall eventually be? It is an amazingly creative and compelling and even alluring story thought and image "Dear Precious & Lovely, Lynette Cachere!!!" ~ Smile, so very believable and, almost revealing; as to perhaps the heart of The Poetess whom penned it--Smile, "Yes," love truly is, a many splendored experience dear lady ~ ....Cont....
