Sunday Morning

Sunday Morning

As I step outside my door on an early Sunday morn,
serenity and silence fill the air. No bustle of sounds in the distance
Every blade of jade grass mellows in the breaking sun.
I look up at the majesty above, glowing pink and silver clouds, opening as doors to a throne
while the radiant morning sun enters the day with the air in awe of its arrival.
No school buses zooming, no garbage trucks roaring.
Just silence, peace.
What greater gift does man have? Life among a perfect creation.
An example of Love so profound, so perfect, and I
one small heart,
Glorifying God.
