Estranged

Longing for the sound of your voice
if just to say hello, how are you
it's been awhile, perhaps to long

How have you been feeling, better I hope
how's my brother? I'll bet he's getting big
I'll bet he's growing into a fine young man

How's the weather? It's been rainy here
warm too, the humidity is up but not as bad
as it was in Florida though, I remember that

What's that? he wants to go to Annapolis or
West Point from High School, oh and
he will be in JROTC in High School 4 years

Your feeling better you say? Stronger by the day
working out three days a week, sounds good
your gaining weight, but it's muscle not fat.

Well gotta go, I'll call you!
