I pray thee dear Sir Brian,
A new qautrain to put to pen,
And to you sir Ruben,
A new and strange form put to pen.
With your verses, meter words,
With logic and rigidity of form,
With rigour and rule
And to you Lady Devonshire,
Create a thing of beauty,
To inspire and to set ablaze,
For each poet a creative flame
And you Madam Brown,
To correct, to educate, to inspire
With your words of wisdom,
Encourage...
To Lady Guzzi, to critique
And to correct, to better this poet.
