Patradoot or The Messenger11 /Many

English version by
Ravindra K Kapoor

Forgetting my sufferings for a while, dear,
Give some consolation, to these poor farmers,
That you would convey their concern, to rain God,
For showering its rain, on their burning earth.

For centuries, every one has played,
With the fate of these poor farmers,
By wiping some of their tears, dear
Give some relief to my sufferings, as well

Ravindra
