Thanks for answering that Ruben. So, people who don't capitalize Haiku, generally leave everything lowercase with Tanka too. Ok, what does it mean if I leave my Haiku lowercase, but enjoy my Tanka being capitalized? Heheh, maybe that can be answered....or discussed within the 'warzone' of the blogs lol. Chris.

P.S--Not that rules really mean that much in the end, once everything is said and done....well unless there really is a heaven and hell! Doh! ;D

Ruben I saw your last comment on 'Tom and Jerry....I was going to incorporate 'Th Th Th Th That's All Folks!" somehow lol. You seem to know about Haiku/Senryu--you know how people like to keep 'classic' Haiku without capitalization? I was wondering if you know if the same rule of thumb goes for Tanka as well, since I haven't researched this yet? Chris.

Your last line is superb and conjures up a great image, such a great twist to your haiku.

Did you enter this awesome Haiku in the 'Rain' contest a few days ago? Hmmm....I don't remember seeing it--I will just shut up what I was going to 'spew.' lol. Thanks for suggesting Narrative form on my Eden poem. I was considering it already but wasn't sure. It is a kind of dialogue poem that isn't listed I believe? Anyway, I changed it to Narrative. Thank you again my friend. Chris.

Great job, Ruben with this Haiku in its pure form! A mi me gustan mucho tus palabra en èste Haiku, bien hecho!!! And thanks for your comments on my Haikus! I have changed it according to you suggestion and indeed it sounds much better. My Spanish is not so perfect, but it is a language perfect for poems....Gracias por tu correción! Have a nivce weekend...Tu amigo Gert

Thank you Reuben for your kind comments. Plaease don't be sad. My son died ten years ago and is always in my heart but he brought me so much happiness and I feel him close. You are very kind and your poem is lovely. I believe, like Carrie, it is as good as any of the winners.

You are a good samaritan, Ruben!! If not for you reminding me this morning, of adding the inspiration for my haiku...(which I had forgotten to do)...I would not be in the winner's circle! Twice now...you have been my editor/guardian angel !!!! I give you my thanks, and gratitude....you are very kind...and I still like this poem (out of all of them ) the best of the best....no lie...I mean it!! I would have picked it # 1 !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
