Chicago Rumba

Windy city their dance hall,
streets of bourbon and beer.
Faded graffiti like dance steps,
transport them to the premier.

His hands like silken cloth,
caress her exposed ebony skin.
Locked into a whirling frenzy,
that is only understood within.

Their shadows both in sync,
two hearts that lightly flow.
Her nails digging into suede,
she lets her hair down low.

He tilted his cap sideways,
twirled his mistress all around.
She made herself more exotic,
two stepping that latin sound.

Sidewalk hopping clicking shoes,
glowing from moonlight passed.
Holding hands into the night,
that soon was slipping fast.

One last dip into romance,
holding her gently until dawn.
Whisked away in dying music,
until they both were gone.
