A memory---
Grandfather's leathery
Labor scarred hands
Warmly held mine
A moment time

Our Grandfathers and Grandmothers sure had labour scarred hands. So many of our ancestors worked extremely hard on the land and in their professions. Wonderful capture of your Grandfather Mary....James :)

Wow! This says so much in a few words. Reminds me of my grandpa--and I'll never forget him either. He'll always be my hero. Thank you for sharing this poem with us and for your kind words on mine. Keep on writing! Karen
