"flying kites"

Mood swings like kite strings
dancing in air
over and up; soar without care-

Wires assure tangling
winds vary and shift,
catching my kite in a spiral down-drift-

Down and under, plummeting from high,
I attempt to recover and appeal to the sky;
Of a sudden it happens and that none too soon,
my kite has found wings - heads for the moon!

Remaining aloft, I'm sure one can't tell -
For my kite could be damaged,
if the string broke and fell.

    I love the first line-- Mood swings like kite strings. Sounds like a Bipolar kite. -Susan Mills
