Headache

Pounding. Constant pounding.
As if a hammer was hitting my skull.
Aching. Constant aching.
Through the back of my shoulders and neck.
As if someone was tearing at me, limb by limb.
And I don't have the strength to fight back.
Oh my eyes, how they throb with the pound
in my head and the aches in my body;
it's torture.
One, little pill could take all of that away.
Although then I'll be stuck with another problem;
disturbed sleep.
And that is something I cannot deal with, or
fight against, more than the others.
The most powerful thing, is sleep.
Cracking. Constant cracking.
How I truly wish I could fix all of this pain.
But this is what happens when you have
allergies and anxiety.
You must choose your battles wisely.
