Betrothed

My master gentle but not in battle                                                                                   
Above all in heaven and earth he is first                                                                             
As a lion reigns as a lamb slain from birth                                                                         
Power to destroy but gives all life                                                                                
Returning will he find faith I sure hope so                                                                  
Believing and waiting to be his wife                                                                               
war the king has won a handmaid looks below
