A Cottage Wedding
Beneath the Live Oaks where life was serene,
Stood a cottage filled with beautiful dreams.
The groom stood ready; family views awake.
His wife-to-be gracefully quivered, quaked.
Never was there a more beautiful bride.
Glorious elegance, hope flamed inside.
Promises vowed; sweet cottage in the woods.
Fragrantly flowered with blooming dogwoods.
Imagined tomorrows began, arrayed.
Celebrating their future love portrayed.
Together, down life’s road they were heading.
Forever won at their cottage wedding.
