Musical Tracks

Musical Tracks A train speeds by with wheels sparking Squeals against the track has the dogs barking Shaking floor announces the presence of its passing Conversations suffer from the train's harassing Loose shutters slap against the house walls A picture falls to the floor down the hall Winds find gaps whistling through House sings a tune from a coal miners crew Rustling leaves from an old oak tree and A tapping trellis beats with a plea Sounding objects create a musical show Playing in unison inside a poetic prose The chatter within has a cadence effect When all is combined a generational song reflects A song grew from the process of growing I can hear the chorus while it is softly flowing Families filled the house With their spiritual essence Each generation saturated their heritage with His presence Their surrounding's beat with a faithful pulse Traditions turned their live's into a historical waltz Carole Cookie Arnold 2010

Carole, I love the patterned look of this one. The form kind of looked like it could fit some kind of long muscial instrument! Great title, great poem. Luv, andrea
