Minerals on a Blanket

Let my ears hear the words,
'come child,
Bring your tired feet, so weary of the journey,
and walk a while with me'

To walk on your spotless blanket?
Your moondust diamond shadow
That fills all dreams herein?

I'll come
With empty arms
Tinselled in your polished minerals
That bray and dust my dampened skin

And wear your opulent clinquant

this has such an interesting feeling to it. Not sure of the meaning at the end, but I still like the sound of it and how you organize your free verse writing! andrea
