Lilacs have a unique exquisite smell as the perfume of your haiku Mary... so fragrant the words.. and that color of purple.. just like no other color on earth... blessings.. luv.. thankxxx for the many kind comments on my poetry last night.. been so busy all day just getting around to responding..with blessings .. luv.. I always have loved the scent of lilacs. Part of it is I think it reminds me of spring--my favorite season. You have me smiling with this one. Keep on writing! Thank you for your ongoing encouragement. Karen
