TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN

No one will ever know,
how I truly feel,all my
thoughts and feelings,
are very,very real.

You can't stop someone
from doing what they feel
they must do,for it's up to
them and GOD if they
make it through.

I met alot of friends on a
website Poetry Soup,so
many of them are so kind,
but this is something I had to do.

The hill that I have been watching,
is very, very steep,I feel the time
is soon,I am going to take the leap.

I finally got one dream
to get a poem in a book,
the book is titled "Whispers"
I hope you take a look.

MY HOPES AND PRAYERS ARE WITH YOU
                        THROUGH THIS TRAGIC ACCIDENT!!

                               Colleen Marie Bono

To Whom It May Concern, From Colleen's poetry so much I have learned. One day she'll find a way to deal with her depression. She must stick around. She's the source of much of my inspiration. Best Wishes Always, Bill

You are loved and cherished more than you can know ...or accept. But here is what I know: you are worth saving. This community gathers around in response to your cry for love because there is truly only one of us in the room. Make Praise your mantra; Walk in Gratitude; Choose Forgiveness even though there is nothing to forgive; Hold Peace and Compassion in your heart. And nurture yourself. Feed your brain and the cells of your body. Drink good, high vibration water. Choose life in its fullness.

Colleen...you are more than this. You are not your thoughts, although it feels very, very real. But Dear One, you are so much more than the thoughts and feelings that burden you. I want you to visit this website, turn up the speakers, and receive a glimpse of the magnificence of you: http://www.theishayatradition.org/radio/praise-video.html

Why Would You? Why would you leave Your children to fend ? Why would you leave Their babies and friends? Why would you leave From Light and Love? Why would you leave God up above? Why would you leave The gifts of this earth? Why would you leave Your heart is of worth! Why would you leave Friends everywhere? Why would you leave When I really care? Jeralynn Clark

I have to agree with Robert as well Colleen...What you are speaking of doing is a long term solution to a short term problem...And with help, the proper help....Trust me it is short term....I have lost my whole family except my children and a sister, yet I am still going strong..The easy way out is not the only way out....Taz

(continued) or we would not continue to share our intimate details with you. We would not open our arms and send our prayers to you. Jesus would not have opened His arms so long ago. Life is just to precious and you are worth way too much to just give up. You are not a quitter. You have made it this far, please find Hope, please find Faith, please find time to talk to someone. Praying for you and lighting another candle... PLEASE DO NOT GIVE UP, NOT YET! Hugs from Lolita

  1. Date: 12/18/2009 5:53:00 AM

(continued) See, I know that if you leave this world that way there is no forgiveness from Him for taking away the most precious gift He has given this world... Your Life! He has a purpose for you. Maybe that purpose was putting you here to save another with your beautiful words but if you are not here to save them then they can not serve their purpose here. You just never know. I do hope that you will get this and open up to me or another. Share with a Dr. or just call a hotline. We all care...

  1. Date: 12/18/2009 5:50:00 AM

(continued) I know myself that I am not strong enough to lose another friend right now, especially during the holiday season. I fight depression everyday with faith I manage to hang on. Sometimes it seems that life is working against me and that God has completely abandoned me only to find that somewhere along the way He makes it known that He remains. I can't always see it right away but He is there and offers so much peace and beauty in that faith. Suicide is not a part of the deal though

  1. Date: 12/18/2009 5:45:00 AM

This poem saddens me greatly. I am in agreement with Robert on this one. None of us here want to suffer the loss of another person in our lives that is important to us. There are so many people here at the Soup that have come to know you and count you as a special part of this family. We all have something in our lives that has causd us to feel just this way at one time or another and if we haven't in the past it will be in the future. God can and will hear us if we call out to Him. Call on Him!

That would not be an "accident".. That would be more like murdering our good friend, Colleen Marie Bono. .Please get help now. At least for the sake of your loved ones. Call a doctor and confide in him or her or at least call. .... National Life line # 1-800-273-8255 .... Go back and read the morning prayer again very slowly. The grace you need will come. It always does .Your poetry friend, Robert

Colleen, before you go, I wonder if you would mind giving a comment on my poem? It may be an odd request, considering what you're alluding to in your writing, but in my experience, when I've been spiraling into the nothingness of myself, it can be helpful to re-direct my gaze outward, to give service of some kind, to choose attitudes of praise, gratitude and love. Ascending past the loops of dreadful thoughts in this way can be uplifting. I would be so grateful for your input on my first effort.

  1. Date: 12/17/2009 9:05:00 PM

NO, Colleen, sorry, but no, can't go through with this "accident". You have much to share with the world. It is a beautiful poem, but the last 2 lines scare to heck out of me. Caroline.
