Love's everlasting Dance

with every night that keeps passing
with everyday our love keeps lasting
I keep growing more fond of you

My hopes and dreams become your wishes
and your smiles become my kisses
I'm going to hold on to you

you give me what i need
so in this dance i'll let you lead
we'll move around the dance floor

keep dancing to tune of love
swooping like doves
until the clock says good night

under the black sky
that's where we'll lye
and sleep to the melody

I'll stay in your arms that hold me tight
I'll stay til morning light
when the sun says awake

we'll stand on our feet
and once again to the beat
we'll start dancing

What a beautiful profession of love, Rachel! You are so lucky to have found someone who makes you feel this way. And I really like the original verse form you have developed here, not confined to one of the forms listed here. Innovative and inspiring! Love, Carolyn
