A November Garden

A November Garden

Some colorful leaves still cling to trees
Though many more have gone bare

Cardinals are no longer crimson
The Robin Redbreast does not thrill
And the bloom has gone off this rose

They will all return to resplendency
When spring arrives again

But I shall not

Still, there is something to be said
For a finite life

Great words, Corinne, and though nature revives year after year.. our physical being does not but our spirit being is still as beautiful as it was at birth.. so lets enjoy both nature and our inner beings .. both precious commodities... luv this style of writing too... unique from your creative pen... blessings ... luv.. Linda-Marie, P.E.P.S. "Sweetheart"
