Dear Doctor:

My Dear Doctor Anonymous: Things becoming calamitous,
blinding headaches without end, tumor's there, why pretend?
Oh, you think I'm symptom-free, where'd you purchase your MD?
Tell the truth, for God's sake! Even doctors make mistakes!
I know you wish I'd go away, but, like a thorn, I'm here to stay.
If you won't help me, I will die, the truth is tougher than your lie.
And when I die I won't be daunted, it's you whose house now will be haunted.
Yours forever, patient rejected, end of letter, as expected.

You're an incredible writer, Dainelle. I have read your poem about the old man who found the kittens on his doorstep repeatedly. It must be frustrating for you to have to deal with the medical profession. I've lost most of my faith in doctors, but we can find a welcome helping hand in God. I have been praying for you and want to wish you a happy Thanksgiving. Your sense of humor is such an inspiration! Much love, Carolyn

Oh yes....do I hear the frustration! There have been times when I have felt like writing a letter to the doctor out of my own frustration after waiting hours in his waiting room....then to find he has left the office! Well done Danielle!! Carrie
