It captivates the souls of many
although it helps a lot it's not always friendly
Some go poor from it's use
Despite the reasons there's no excuse
It victimizes people in wanting more
Until they're walking through a prison door
the love of it an tear a family apart
Leaving each other with a broken heart
It's not worth the sadness and pain
when in the end
the power of money
will be the one to blame
