Is this my mother i see

Is this my mother i see.
                        What was i doing
                        yes i am aging
Is this my mother i see
                        Alas it is not
                        It is me
                       Where was i going
                       I am forgetting
Is this my mother i see
                      Alas it is not
                      It is me
                     Why did i say that
                     It has no meaning
Is this my mother i see
                     Alas it is not
                     It is me
                    When will it leave me
                    No one is listening
Is this my mother i see
                    Alas it is not
                    It is me
For my mother who has Alzheimers.

I feel the same too. I woke up once still drosey and walked passed the mirror. I said " Hi Dad" it was a quick glace and after a good eye rub and as I began to brush me teeth I felt a cold shiver down me spine as I thought, I look like me dad the same way I remember him when I was small. DO DON'T HAVE Alzheimers
