Broken

No comfort today
even my walk outside
did nothing to dispel the
roiling clouds of discontent (helplessness)
within my mind

The fight within my spirit is gone-
broken- run away- hiding
too much, too long
the breaking point-silent as falling snow
weeping endlessly - helplessly
is all that follows

Will I lay here forever
weeping in madness
or will my strength return
once the river of tears
has run it’s course?

Be sure and let the mourning run it course, for there is healing in it's wings, always. Sincerely Moses

Keep the faith, Trudy. I have been in the state you describe, but we do find our strength again. Your spirit will return; I'm certain of it. And you'll be in my prayers. Love, Carolyn

You have expressed so eloquently those feelings of despair that seem to have no end....and yet, somehow that veil of darkness will lift eventually, and the sun will shine again.... I hope it does quickly for you, if this comes from your heart today. ~ Love, Carrie
