"MY COWGIRL"

God took six days to create this earth. After some rest, He plotted a cowgirl's birth. "Folks have got off track since time begin." "My Cowgirl will be perfect," He thought with a grin. "Problems are Global since it started in motion." I’ll fix this mess with My Cowgirl notion." As He pondered His stars an' His moonlit skies. He captured that beauty to put in her eyes. "My Sun's warmth will be bred into her heart." "No stature of creature will be bred as smart." He looked upon the Rockies an' the beauty there in. He thought, "That's the beauty I'll put in her grin." He thought of His fire an' how hot it does burn. "That's the intensity of My Cowgirl's concern." "My oceans are strong an' mighty like Me." "Just how I want My Cowgirl to be." He thought how His trees do flex in His wind. "My Cowgirl will flex, like these she will bend." "My prairies have stretched both vast an' wide". "That's the same Love she'll carry inside." "The measure an' vastness of the depths of My oceans." "The same measure is set for My Cowgirl's emotions." He pondered the gentleness of His spring day rain. "That's the gentle ease I want in her brain." "My birds toil tirelessly for endless hours." "Man can't count the bounty of My flowers." "My Cowgirl will match the energy of My birds." "Like My flowers her beauty can't be captured with words." He reflects back on life an' how it begins. The future of it all an' how it all ends. That's the way it is an' the way it should be. "She's dog-gone near perfect, for My whole world to see." By Jim "Ish' Fellers Copyright ©: March 24, 2004 ~ Wednesday

Ms. Carolyn??? I must come back and make a formal reply to your last post. My last post I just got to rattlin' so.... (But that rattle problem's discussed on another blog postin'. I realized it & I'm gettin' help.) ANYWAY!!! I've met alot of Ladies that are so near perfect a feller's got to look hard to find a flaw. The Two Ladies that inspiriered this story are at the top of my list. Take-Care my friend. JW ~ TexasCowboyIsh

Howdy Ms. Carolyn; Thanks for the kind words. Suppose the World will never see the perfect Cowgirl. God sent a perfect man and He mad folks so mad they put'em on display to die and killed Him. So I ain't holdin' my breathe for this Cowboy Notion. Keep ridin' Darlin'. And Remember! While you're airborn, it could've been worse. The durn thang could've kicked ya, stepped on ya, bit ya, etc. Throwin' ya is a polite jesture from your stock. The afore mentioned is the exclamation point meanin' NOW!

Hi Jim, This is a lovely description of God's creation of a perfect woman. I have always fancied myself a "cowgirl" and have the hat to prove it. Spent some time at two ranches, one was in Arizona. My friends and I took a day to visit Tombstone where we heard all the stories about the spirits that haunt the Bird Cage Saloon. Beautiful area, but it was too hot. Riding in Wyoming was a lot more fun for me. Hope you have found your cowgirl! Love, Carolyn

OH!! By-The-Way!! Ms. Sara!! After writin' "Cowpoke Queens" I'as kinda on a roll an' this story just came flowin' out. So; What Could I Do? But; Write it down! There'as all those memories of all those Cowgirls I'd met down through the years. Like the 'ole song says, "I Loved'em, Everyone." AND....That other 'ole sayin', "I hate to see ya leave, but I sure like to watch ya go." Guess I'm just rattlin' now. I'd best go while I'm ahead. See-ya, Ms. Sara. Thanks again! JW ~ TexasCowboyIsh

Thank-Ya; Ma'am. Ya just ain't seen a more perfect Lady than one of God's Cowgirls, I'll bet. Where I come from there's an 'ole sayin'; "There's just sum'um 'bout a Lady in a Hat." AND....Of-course ya know??; Rocky Mountains can make any Ladies derriere worthy of a moment of observance. Take-Care, My Friend. We'll visit again soon, Ms. Sara. JW ~ TexasCowboyIsh
