Me & The Nature of Freedom

I am an ember,
freed from a smoldering cage;
exhaled with the crack of a whip.
I fall upon the ground.

Tigers stripes engulf me.

I am a droplet,
liberated from the forest canopy;
weaving, caressing, silking.
A volatile ribbon extending upward,
transcending upon a veracious sky;
towards the Sun's embrace.
I bear too much.

The sky collapses.
