Carolyn this is a fantastic haiku! I especially like the first line. And, it's so true, that life can be destroyed as forces of nature follow their own path. By the way, you've got mail, my dear! Hugs, Donna

I enjoyed reading this Haiku. I has beautiful meaning behind it. We tend to forget about tradegy when we are not personally involved in it. There are people out there that are still hurting in one way or another from the tradegy of Catrenia. I hope that you and your family were not personally hurt. Sara
