You Do Not Love Me

You ask too much of me -
By asking nothing.

You tell me silently
Without a word - I see

That I am nothing to you -
I need to be.

Like so many children today, I see, who's parents won't discipline them, and the child knows without an action at all that they are not loved. I know your poem likely was about yourself, it caused me to think about unloved children! Love you, good poem!
