How was your trip?

Sinister laughter I hear in my dreams,
drowns out the horrifying sound of my screams.
Colors intense cloud my mind...
the only way out is impossible to find.
Minutes drag on...the hours unkind...
please lay me to sleep so I can unwind.
Fields of flowers, waves of grass...
I hate this place...will it pass?
The rain feels like needles peircing my skin...
if this is a game...I'd never win.
I'm running on water,
I'm swimming in dirt...
I'll never come back here...to this kind of hurt.
