Unwanted

I feel like feces in a toilet
unwanted and flushed away
like a rotten egg; scorned
cracked and then thrown away
maybe even like spoiled milk
one taste and i make you sick;
then i'm thrown away
i'm like a bugger in your nose
you just got to get rid of me
like pigeon poop
you wouldn't want me to touch you
it's funny
because to me, you're
like a million bucks
i'll want you all the days of my life
but to you;
i'm just a tissue
that you use
and then,
throw
away

    I'm sorry that you feel so bad. Think about this. If I walked over to my cat and said to her,"You are nothing but a piece of____." Would she be one just because I said that to her? Likewise, you aren't any of those things that you say you feel like. You are a child of God. You have worth and are valuable to your Heavenly Father. He loves you. Lovingly, Dane

    Latisha, You are not a rotten egg or any other horrible comparision you have made.You are lovely creation of God and are lovely in every way.Who is anyone on this earth to want to not want you, God wants you and he had made you with love and care.So you are HIS lovely creation.

    How sad that your father makes you feel this way, LaTisha. I hope the two of you find a way to get closer. Life is short, each day is precious. Bless you, Carolyn

    so my father doesn't deserve me? well glad you think so, I thought so to then I started to wonder if it was in fact me that didn't deserve him. don't worry I'd never be like this over a boyfriend. thank you for your comment

    Terrible feelings in this stirring poem, Latisha. Nobody is a million bucks. And you're not a "feces-rotten egg-spoiled milk-bugger-poop-tissue." Leave him, forget him, he doesn't deserve you. Best wishes. Ruben.
