STAY WITH ME

I’m glad I’ve found such a special friend.
Out of the clear blue skies, you’ve had to descend.
Straight from heaven - the new Jerusalem’s finest mansion.
I know they miss you up there, but I’ve taken you ransom.
It’s more than fortunate to find a pearl in the sand,
And since I’ve found one I hope God will understand.
And let me keep this unique jewel I’ve blindly run into
And pray that it’s destiny and not coincidental.

Surely a friendship such as this cannot be coincidental. It was made in heaven, just like the loving voice in your great poem. Well done, Larry.
