The Battleground

My heart is a battleground
Enclosed by the pericardium
Involuntarily, it shuns the foe
The left and right atriums at war
Facing no other option
But to endure this wrecked situation
This is just a systematic circulation
Overflowed by blood, both forces debate
Rage, anger, fury, and humiliation
This warfare must come to an end
Both parties give in their ammunition
But wait, it's a little too late
Destiny has already determined this heart's fate

I am waiting on you to write more ... I've got to find where destiny leads.

I'm afraid I can't answer that. How about you let it be whatever it is that you want it to be :)

A heart is too beautiful thing to waste, I know it, because this poem came from it. Become the captain of your ship again, keel your destiny where you will, we are the master of it.
