vulnerable

vulnerable

tears continually stream well like eyes
her mascara darkens, complementing her misery
voluptuous legs apprehensively taping earth perpetually
Though she holds whole any eye knew her soul had been shattered
buzzard like males deceitfully grin of her vulnerability
they’ve spotted beauty beneath her hurt
whispering in the depths of which shall have the opportunity at such potential
the well groomed buzzard with nice wings soars toward with an supercilious swagger
he sings a sorrowful song with a several notes of deception
her aura meets the color range of her mascara as she screams till he fly’s away
I smirk looking at his defeated flock with a grin that said “vulnerable my ass”

This poem is great. It describes a real life issue. All too often, some young vulnerable girl doesn't see hurt coming. Life can become devastating and almost unbearable. Poems like this one, if sufficiently circulated or published in a book, might bring an awarness that would help prevent the vulnerable from those circling buzzards. Excellent write!.

This is great showing that even with a broken heart and the vulenerability of having lost love a woman can find hidden strength and still survive. Great write... Smiles from Lolita

What an intriguing write, James. Sounds like the buzzard got what was coming to him as he preyed on the vulnerable woman. Love that last line!!
