Dreamtime: Distant View

DREAMTIME: DISTANT VIEW

moonlight
 wakens
 ancient yearnings
 in
 my
 soul

 setting free my spirit
 to
 challenge
 destiny

 dreaming
 arc's of infinity

 fueled by the light
 coursing the sky

 searching
 the
 glimmer
 that bends time
 and
 whispers
 what lies
 behind, ahead
 or
 inspires
 bursting atoms

 shaping
 strings of life

 .....shifting
 my
 evolution

Well done...I like the format myself. It approaches in unsure stages just like a dream does. The clarity is residual and only complete in it's finality...just like a dream Right on, Write on!! Steve

Beautiful words, I especially love the part that reads "inspires bursting atoms" that is true poetry. Excellent write!~Thank you for your kind words on my poem "Child or Adult" it is a tragic story and so true, your words of support give me hope that someone will hear my sons plea. ~Smiles from Lolita

This is deeply rooted, and makes me think of Native American spiritual connections of the spirit and nature, together. Nicely done! (Thank you for your comment on my 'Country Road" poem...Peafowl...namely peacocks and peahens, run wild at times around this area...)...Thanks for asking!,,Carrie
