curse at the sun, pray for the rain

The sun stands head held high shimmering of pride
People glide so mundane with a consistent stride
I look left and right all is the same
I curse at the sun and pray for the rain

Troops are killed in a foreign land
History laughs at the stupidity of man
We kick rocks and look to the sky when we asks who’s to blame
I curse at the sun over the sands and pray for the rain

The minute hand rolls as your life goes
Why is everything so typical, who the hell knows?
I curse at the sun and pray for the rain
I curse at the sun and pray for a change
Boredom strikes hard God life is lame
