~ This Is My Son II ~

These chariots, for another moment, for another day, coming, to prepare the way
As leviathan called to Venus, and Mar's smile, fell
From the hand of God, who's eyes like fire, burned
Glaring at the evils twisted smirk, lightning, flashing once again, eternities end....
The voice of His Son, suddenly, upon His ears
"Father forgive them, for they know not what they do"
Amid a crimson drenched crossing, resounding, rising, unto the highest peaks of time....
Somber beneath the deserts dunes, grievings hearts through and through
Infants within their cribs, visions transfixed, something, inside....
"John, behold your mother~Mary, behold your son"
As brightness wrapped itself about the earth, and proclaimed, within a mightly voice
"Mercy and truth have embraced, righteousness and peace, have kissed"
"It is finished," Christ then declared, as He closed His eyes, and gently, lowered His head....
Wailing, as soon thereafter, a prophecies spear, was thrust, into His side
Darkness laughing, until, the curtain was rent, and the skies they thundered
And the earth it shuddered, as the graves of the righteous dead, were then, opened wide
As Heaven thus shouted, with jubilous joy, and all of existence, began to rejoice
The Angels perfect, began their dance, with the stars of knowing, holding their hands
As God exhaled, upon the galaxies that breathed, everlastings, paradisiacal life....
Smiling He said, "this is My Son, in whom, I am very well pleased"
"Hearken unto Him, this, 'Your King of Kings!'"
While the birds began to sing, and the flowers began to sway
The dolphins they called, unto the blue whales of the deep
And the lioness' cubs they played, with the tender lambs so meak
As the moon turned her head to say, "I love you," to the now, coruscating sun
And Halleys Comet began to gleefully skip, along the Milky's Way
Proud mountains once again stood tall, as the forest, reverberated with laughter
Creation, mirthfully unwrapping, 'the gift,' of the everafter....
While the babies eyes beheld the light, of "Heavens Gates'
Forever restored, as they smiled within the cribs, of revelations grace, revealed
That someday, we shall all live, once more ~
As lucifer hung his head, glancing at 'the now empty cross,' one last time
"What?," he thought, as he solemnly, walked away!

John, simply awesome..that contained the most important message one could read..I loved part one and part two just took me home .It is amazing all what God went through so that his children could be free and live in harmony. His name is truly Amazing Grace..In life we must always remember if it had not been for the lord on our side, where would we be....This is reason enough to always give him the glory and the praise....Thank you for sharing this Excellent work of art...God Bless You*Tyesha

How ironic that Luciver should hang his head and walk away. There is so much to be learned from this provocative poem. Perhaps forgiveness is the best thing we can take with us. For as Jesus said, and you quoted, "Father, fogive them, they know not what they do." Once we learn to forgive, we are free to love and worship once more. Genuinely moving. And thanks for reading "Hungry and Hopeless Americans." I have such fear for our future. Love, Carolyn

Outstanding John. Your imagery is rich and deep. I love how you weaved all of Heaven and earth into the celebraton of Salvation. Christ suffered so terribly for us all to live. It seems that we should be able to follow His word. Love one another. It is easy if He is truly in your heart. His light clearly shines in yours, John. Sorry it has taken me so long to get here. I have been ill but mending. (Ephesians 6:10-17) Again, outstanding work, John! GBY! Love, Robin

John what can I say about this masterful creation. This is an awsome write. Your faith and love for Jesus is always exentuated in your truths. I love to read your creations of the heart which are Christ truths manifested in you and brought out through you to share with us. Thank you John you are one of my favorites and I am always taken aback with your special touching creations reflecting our Lord Jesus Christ. I have been busy and have taken some time off but I always go back to my favorites.

This is aweinspiring, John. Just full of breathless images. Jesus was truly the greatest man who ever lived and is an example for us all to follow. Those accounts on Jesus death have always moved me to tears. Makes me want to get my bible out and read them again. I loved the last few lines. Love Christie and little Brianna PS I love "halleys comet began to gleefully skip along the Milky's Way" that is really cool *^_^*
