Is this the road to recovery
Or the slip lane of delusion?
Stuck on the hard shoulder
Trying to see through the illusion
Another episode of mania
Of hypnosis and psychosis?
Responsibilities I cannot face
Ever searching for my faith
Standing firm, in spite of myself
No guidance, no voices, no care
No groups, no discussions or therapy
The only one to judge is me
Hoping to feel safe once more
(if I ever did before)
Seeking approval, reassurance from myself
