Haiku/Limerick number twenty

Haiku master, with me had a word
Said my Haiku's are simply absurd
Just one more for today, then put them away
You'r the mistress, I'm the Master, preferred

          Haiku

Mountain air biting
Spring lambs trailing on the edge
Mint sauce with dinner

I love the way your poem speaks of "lambs trailing on the edge" and then they become dinner. The haiku master controls your pen! Love, Carolyn

Interesting prelude to this poem. I like the unique imagery in your haiku. Nice use of this concise form. Keep up the good writing. Karen

Nice work. Both are filled with insight. I don't think your haiku's are absurd. I love the imagery in your work...Raul

ha ha very clever. The last or slowest lamb will surely be caught and made into dinner. mmmm I love lamb, am I invited? Excellent form and perfect clarity. Michael
