I Wonder

I Wonder.  I sit in this immensity of sound;
a bellow in the blast sound;
a sound that rips sensitivity’s jacket thread bare
and lays waste to any cogent thought.
I am filled with hope as I sail through the night
In this juggernaut of noise known as the church lobby.
I get up, walk back to my office and close the door.

    Wow! So much to think about in this powerful poem. You made the most of just seven lines. Wonderful! Thank you for your prayers and concern. Karen

    I wonder how on earth I missed this. It is a noisy world, and I so appreciate my solitude, and quiet. I love the feeling and imagery this evokes. Happy Easter Orma, to you and yours. A heartfelt thank you for your beautiful comment on my blog. How wonderful to hear from you on this day. Thank you for thinking of me. Love & hugs, Shar xoxo
