I'm Empty

It always comes
I lay down
Everything is quiet
And dark
I breathe in
I breathe out
slowly
I wait
And it comes
Praises, requests, love, thanksgiving
It didn't come

laurie, we have been chosen by God Almighty to bear the weak, the poor, the needy, and the downtrodden upon our shoulders, because of our inner strength. Sometimes we must taste the bitter seed of emptiness, inorder that God, Himself fulfills us for all of them to draw from us. I love You Laurie. Elijah Prophet. The voice in this piece screams emptiness. The last two lines reveals a lot. Sad, effective writing.
