MY NEIGHBOUR`S WIFE

In her eyes
where the dazzle bathes my heart
in unknown flames,
i dare not look.

In her slender arms
where affection glistens
with awakened passions,
i dare not slid into.

To her voice
whose balm comes
from the spring,
i dare not heed.

Now by the fire-side,
i sit;
far into the night.
It is her eyes that lock with mine.
It is her hand that i hold in mine.
It is her voice that comes to me in silence.

Soon, the night will change its hue.
The moon will hide her gaze.
The stars, their fire,
and the evening wind will surely leave for home.

But to those naked eyes,
those tender arms,
and caressing voice,
all my seriouse thoughts resort at all hours.
