The Mirror

So many faces
looked out from my mirror
all wanting answers
to the life I have led.

Some of them dreamers
some true believers
some wanting demons
to lay and to rest.

But I am a dreamer
sometimes a believer
I danced with demons,
did I do my best?

This reminds me of Michaels, "Man in the Mirror." I like poems that make me stop and think. Well done.

This is really fabulous. That old introspection can get us every time. Wondering what we would have changed, and what we could have accomplished. "So many faces looked out from my mirror..."Amazing write my friend. Love Christie
