Lonely

I left a sign
to the wind and rain,
to shed my ashes,
free of pain.

Take me on a flowing cloud
where eagles dare,
to be loved,
to be proud.

Take my soul
to friends long gone,
I just know they are singing
Annies song.

They wait for me,
I hear them call,
I just need to feel,
what I felt, once more.

This is not sad,
just contemplating,
I just need some love,
for my heart it is breaking.

KEEP WRITING THAT'S WHERE THE DEPTH OF A GRAND LOVE COMES SHINNING THROUGH.....I KNOW BECAUSE YOUR WRITTING TOUCHES THE SOULS OF ANY MAN.....

Hello, my friend. This is such a haunting and beautiful write. As always, I love it. I sense such a sadness here. I say Smile! Love to you, Christie

I love the longing in this piece. I find it very exciting and vulnerable at the same time. Very nice write.
