True....but I often have wondered what, if there is ever that final straw, happens when the heart is beyond any further endurance... anyway I guess it's all a process of soul, a path we're given. Beautiful haiku. Love, Sara

So very true, life prunes us so we can send out stronger shoots and produce better fruit. Good one. Love Heidie

Yes, you said it. Pain is how we learn; rise; and gain the will needed to gain heaven. Well said, my friend, Kristin

Dear Deneen! What an exhaustive comment you have written eulogizing my poem Wink of Eyes. You have seen beyond the meaning of words used. In fact your comment is a poetry written on a poetry. Remarkable. I am indebted to you sooooo much! I have read your Haiku Growing Pains and felt the depth of the pain that inspired it. Indeed pain brings strength. It is a loyal friend. It does not desert you. This is what I pointed to in my poem Magician and Aladin's wonderful lamp. God Bless you! -Mohammad
