Wink of Eyes

My journey is shorter than a wink
Tarry a little, I shall be back
Apathy emits nauseating stink
Kindness is a needle in haystack

What shall I stay here for?
Bondages are hard to endure
Thy creations allure me from far
Beauties are mine, I’m not sure

Thy free gifts have a price tag
I’ve to pay even to breathe
My cravings, my desires have snag
I am mortgaged up to teeth

Love has stretching demands
Life bewails the limited grant
There are bonds, bonds and bonds
How to endure the ceaseless haunt

Prepare the hearse for me
I beseech you let my soul free.

Oh yes, the whirlwind of material demands the world imposes on one's soul hehehe! Sometimes it could get so confusing as to over rate its values against whats important... Introspective Mohammad, a little too metaphorical in some areas where it needs to be light, but it catches on ok in the end though! Brgds from The Olongapoet

Mohammad! I had to come back here, and ask you p,ease if you could tell me the name and author of the poem you quoted me in my latest! That was one heavy-duty quote, and I must know the poem, as within that one line, speaks the key to wisdom. Please? thank you! Kristin

There's so much pain in it. Its as if a you have foretold the stories of many generations ahead and also reviewed the tales of people lagging behind. Great piece. Blessings, Chitra

I so know of the mortal pain and grief of which you so beautifully write, this earth and all it's dimensional laws are so hard to live with, but this is a gift! This is our gift - the means with which to gain access unto eternity, for only through the gaining of will and hard hard times, are we able to crystallize such strength - it is all in the overcoming of hardship - for this is truly a gift, and if we do not use it as it was intended, we are smoke. Awesome awesome poem! K

You pack so much into every verse. The first and third stand out for me, but the poem in it's entirety is incredible. Another amazing write from our talented Mohammad Yamin! Love, Shar
