Ancient fruit

And there you are my tasty fruit
Emerald life stretches from the root
Lush grape vines growing upward to reach the sun
Sun blessed one by one
Dripping wet morning dew
Sugared sweet tasty too
Late August harvest time shall be near
A fresh bowl on my lap glazed where I peer
Summer kisses gardens flourish
In my mouth and body it did nourish

very descriptive I can see and taste the fruit as I read. There's a fruit tree in the yard across from my yard and no one lives there so the fruit is ripe for picking.

Laura, you have painted quite a vivid picture of the mouth-watering fruit of the vine my friend. I've noticed a minute typo in line 2 the word "streches" I believe should be "stretchs" However, it is still a very beautifully writen piece and truly a pleasure to read and review :-)Thank you for sharing, God's Love and Many Blessings, Always, Adell

Laura, the rhyme scheme in this is perfect as it makes the read so smooth. Your imagery of the fruit and the lusciousness of it is wonderfully vivid. Michael
