Mistletoe Undone

Breaststroke on a Sunday
a lazy misery if ever one found
Set free from living mischief,
Serene beyond dull - free?
a wrinkled mind for
crinkled fingers the decrepit remainder
of home
Not lifeless, no more alive, though
than in helpless last moments yet for
decades passed, fashioned pallid, pathetic
Maniacally preserved for some museum show
of half-lived human artifacts unidentified
but for circa year soul murdered - suicide
To take a swim, to reclaim, to folly!
Resign - the dirt's tome.
