The Last Supper

All are sitting at the table eating,
talking, laughing, Reminiscing, crying
but trying to make the best of it.
They listen, and hear a distant call.
Why must they leave already,
did they misbehave at the table?
They try to finish their food in a rush,
for they will not want to be hungry later.
They get up from their chairs, push them in.
and all help to clear the table.
He is near, and will ask them to leave his house.
Gunshots are firing, and bombs are exploding.
They run for safety, as he now has arrived to his home.
All of them head for the door, and exit out one by one.
Its good that they enjoyed what would be their last supper.
