Titled
The soul is an alley,
littered with guilt.
The mind is a sausage
perched on a stilt....

The Guest
The moon,
a medicine bottle shaking silt and shadow,
drunk to the bottom by
shifting clouds, thirsty for the
the stilt man stalking
pitch roof Brooklyn
warm night July....

Premium Member On Stilts
Listen to poem:
The long-legged lass in ruddy tights
struts her stuff like high-heeled stilts.
Each step a flouncing prance,
an elegant dance on heel-up stance,
that flaunts the body to pose, poised....

Premium Member Sun-Soaked Sunflowers
sun-soaked sunflowers flourish, fresh-faced and freckled
with seeds. On stilt-stems, their flourishing legs, and on
tippy-toes, like toddlers, do reach for the stove-hot sun.
Cherubs with innocent countenance, happy in their home.

I Was Not Cruel
In a stilt-house
I ate two-three drops rain
with a bread slice;
A mouse stared at me with fear of fear

Bared I was on flooded map
Ruthlessly a snake ate the mouse
But I couldn't hunt the snake

Oh; I was not cruel actually

Fleurs De Lis
The lilies lilt
on single stilt

their beauty built
to never wilt

from earthen quilt
that God did sew
those lilies grow
with heads like snow

to bless each row
because they know

our hearts will slow
from first sin's woe

and garden guilt

returns to silt...

Rumple My Stilt Skin
when younger
i knew none
of this that
you call
napping

so so awake
all this time
my beard
has been
growing

but now
it's a bit
passed
two in
the

afternoon
and after
i finally
decide
to agree

with
my eye
lids lets
let them
peacefully

close...

Reading Ondattje
Grind the curry
Balm the wax
and sweep the bits of bellow to wind
Blue the sky
Break the dew
and liquefy reason before we begin
Coral the room
Stilt the walk
in pyramids of brinjals, persimmons and figs
Sleep the fan
Curl the mind
in spirals of sweet burning Sri Lankin sprigs....

Under the houses on stilt
That has no sewers
And built for whores
To service sailors in Curacao
A dry barren island
In the Caribbean Sea
Pigs live under the houses
Grew big and ugly
When one is slaughtered
The meat tastes of drunk
Seamen’s vomit
And cheap perfume
That hides
The grotesque sex
In the name of need...

Happy For Some
A happy place…for some

Under the houses on stilt
That had no sewers
And was built for whores
To service sailors in Curacao
A dry, barren Island
In the Caribbean sea.
Pigs lived under the houses
 Grew big and ugly.
When one of them was
slaughtered
Its meat tastes of drunk
Seamen`s vomit and
A cheap perfume that hides
The grotesque sex
In the name of need....

When I Die
With sight forever closed
	And voice eternally locked
Shine still will the immortal sun
Birds at my wake keep sing on to life as incense burn
When I die;
In neat dis-order, ants will march
And buzzing silently the bees shall lament
	While I shall lie still,
	All gone stealth and stilt.
	Finally dead from undying death
With sightless eyes and mirthless mirth, my bane.
When I die ....

Premium Member Floral Stilt Walkers
We have floral stilt walkers in this circus you know
I had no idea, but sat down to enjoy the keen show
I had never been to the UK so this was a treat
The floral stilt walkers are tidy and incredibly neat

They walk better than most of us who are on the ground
I waved and winked to them, and neither of them frowned.
Lily and Zinnia floral stilt walkers are totally new to me
But I think they are as amazing as circus people can be....

Culm To Bare
That sex was fine or so I thought
The mask removed to plair my prott
When all along I thought was hot
was all I'd fared to bring her sot

As all I was was fair to her
and held a hone up for dare to stare
And all I'd said was killed for stlair
Dead all run down for stilt for hair

When all run down more HELP to bare
where all good reason meant to pare
Was all basht out for love despair
where all who'd think that rape was fare
Was all you ruggs who'd culm to bare...

CIRCUS IN TOWN

CIRCUS

The big top towers
stilt walking clown welcomes one...
happiness assured.

 CLOWN

With teardrops falling
children uncomfortable...
head in lion’s mouth.

KNIFE THROWER

The hubbub crowd pause
blade glistens in the spotlight...
anxiousness relieved.

HIGH WIRE

Life’s giddy balance
on the tight rope overhead...
one’s ambitions met.

LION TAMER

The slash of the whip
controls the snarl of the wild...
giant *****cat.
