A blasphemer, I am not, my Lord,
And
A blasphemer, I shall never be,
However,
On my knees, I, Your ignorant servant, humbly dare ask:
"Why do You, my heavenly Father, allow,
Your magnificent edifice of luminous Love,
to be, constantly, overshadowed,
by
the grotesque constructions,
of
obscure hate?"

Premium Member The Plea of the White Rose

A rose devoid of color
and a poem reft of rhyme,
met without meaning,
timeless in an idle mind
that could not think, lay ink
upon a page, engage,
or otherwise oblige
the shrinking will
of one who'd fill a page.
So, sadly, they sat, not wishing that
they'd end, badly penned,
in a nothing, a not,
a period, a dot.

From her bed, the white rose pled,
this black ink poem,
obscures my form,
pale, pure, and pretty,
Please ma'am to see, the real me
hides behind these lines.
Words and letters do not flatter.
Look about, before, between.
Find me, free me, and forgive
this poem, this pitiful poet.

Desperate Cry

In saying nothing
I’ve said all,
in truth my silence lies.

I’m not hiding,
I stand tall,
consent and dissent my allies.

In time they’ll understand,
for now, it suffices to say:

       Nothing
              Loudly,

so that the whole world can hear.

( 8th Placement in Rob Carmack's Polarity Contest)

Final Plea

(Tribute to my original poem "Flames and Ashes")

Ashes fall where hope once stood,
Ruins mask what once was good.
Bridges burn and homes collapse,
Trapped inside a nightmare's trap.

No life survives the shell
They say "A soul must rot in Earth's Hell"
The carnage reigns, the price is deep
The nations bleed while tyrants reap

The sky is choked with dust and rust,
In concrete graves, we place our trust.
The missiles scream, the heavens shake,
The ground will split, the earth will break.
Through crimson smog, the engine roars,
Bled behind heavy doors.
The daylight dies, the air is thin,
Breathe in the ash, let the poison win.

A final plea, the wires snap
The world crumbled in its traps
I lost my soul, I failed the toll
To bury what broke us whole

The Plea of the Offspring of Makati

Oh Father God, let me win millions of pesos in Philippine Lotto lottery

Let's see how the world will treat me

If I already have lots of money

For sure even my fans in FB

Will increase surprisingly

Hear me, oh hear me, my Father God Almighty!!!...

Hearken to the Plea of the Offspring of Makati!

By Your will, the world shall see

A great enterprise rising from this country!

An enterprise that shall uplift the many

And magnify Thy mercy & glory!

An enterprise that shall rescue me

From their lynching & lingchi literally and/or figuratively

An enterprise that shall show to the many

Your glorious miracle not yet in history!

Be our hope & foundation of prosperity

Make me an instrument of a new dawn for humanity!

327 The Plea of the Blinded Cyclops

The Plea of the Blinded Cyclops

Trespasser! How dare you do this to me?!

Now with your blunder no more I can see!

After having my shelter & fodder then you'll flee!

Ungrateful! I sheltered you but my eye you shattered!

I fed you but my blood you splattered!

Now I will crush you and your nasty herd!

Animals! I will flay you alive once your're snatched!

I will shred your flesh once you're clutched!

Don't know my brutality has never been matched?!

Criminals! You will soon pay for your brutality!

Don't you know you have enraged thee?!

Thee you have offended…the mighty god of the sea!

Godless! How dare you inflict the son of a god?!

For yourself it's fruit is really, really bad!

For me my father to you is really, really mad!

Insane! Odysseus, also you deserve a cruel bane!

Poseidon! Hear your son, Polyphemus, wrenching in pain!

Let not this Plea of the Blinded Cyclops fall in vain!

Premium Member Today Is Out Of Order

Today is out of order.
I just want to flee,
everything is biting me like a big yellow bee.
The day started off with mold on my brie,
then I lost my only house key.
Under the bed looking for my shoe on one knee,
my pants went wet with pee.
Please just set me free,
this is my one and only plea.

Plea to the Secretary

I can never forget the day

When we went to a radio RGMA

And I brought thee Nescafe

Oh our Vice President would be

Forget my hateful words not meant to be

Forgive me please & accept me into thy city & thy party

Accept me once again, Sec. Mar Roxas

Do not throw me off thy righteous bus

To the straight path again I must.

Premium Member Nutmeg's Plea - Extended Disco Version

Little nutmeg will now recite her poem...

I sit quietly on your spice shelf,
You notice the others, never myself,
a humble tin of ground nutmeg.
Please hear me. I don't wish to beg.
I wait here, nightly, wide awake -
please put me in your pie or cake.

Thank you, Ms. Nutmeg. Uhoh, it looks like she's doing an encore...

Please put me in your cake or pie.
If you don't, then I should die,
longing to be gently sprinkled
by your loving hands, so wrinkled,
into a pudding made of rice.
Don't you think that would be nice?

Premium Member Love or Bust Is For Me

Love or bust is for me,
no more sadness or I will flee.
People need to be free,
that is the key.
To fly like a big yellow bee,
in the blue sky is my plea.

Love or bust is for me,
let go and be carefree.
Paint with pretty paints the sea,
paint with your words a big oak tree.
Now enjoy love with a hot cup of rose tea.

Plea to free every Kiwi

Squarely unfairly unsung young flung across the ditch flee

Happy for me to be the snitch as the rich get off scot free

Property toffs scoff as our nation’s next generation f*ck off

Another bung at the trough child’s play while we all pay GST

Fast lanes or in chains those with the reins no capital gains

No refrain from more cranes poor poured down the drains

Got wonga join the conga to Rarontonga on private planes

Our saviour.. greedy behaviour giving trees to Scandinavia

Relax those with the max keep their stacks with tax so lax

Life givers charming rivers harming for lairy dairy farming

Have observed scary what we’ve heard's absurd have a word

Got to roam can't afford a home blame Luxon's chrome dome

Uncle Fester a Stooge for every corporate Scrooge does pester

We've all been had unless you go to the bank of Mum & Dad

Undeserved the herd as endangered as our sad flightless bird

Blurred after all that has occurred society stirred then slurred..

Mad everything pricey everything dicey plea to free every KIWI

Problem Resolution Plea

Prohibit plastic production please
impose a moratorium then ban it
as it has proliferated to the point
of permanently polluting our planet
permeating people poisoning pets
pervading places
from the peak of Mount Everest
to the Great Pacific Garbage Patch
and yet you'll even catch PVC
at the bottom of the sea
as 95 percent of packaging
is used in one-and-done products
if we don't take the process to heart
personally do our part
possibly throttle
the genie already out of that bottle
which predominates the population
and the plague persists
it has the potential for propagation
'til we've had it up to here
with a plethora of polymers
coming out our ears

The Unanswered Call

My weary pen indites a weary plea,
To thee, who turn'st away eternally.
No deep response,no answer to my soul-
Then set me free, or let me cease to be.
