<P>Dear friends,</P> <P>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;My wife lost her cousin in a car accident this past week, in Florida. Whatever the circumstances were it boils down to the fact that he was not wearing a seat belt and died quickly. This shouldn't happen people. Seat belts are made for safety, but still people don't wear them because somehow they justify the need to not wear them. I say no! We as adults must warn all and enforce this rule. Make sure your loved ones use their belts. Make sure cars aren't overfilled with people so one or more doesn't have a belt. Protect your children! I'm sorry for going on but the only way people can truly know the importance is if they are constantly reminded of the harsh reality,"you don't wear it, you'll die and you won't only change your life but the lives of everyone else as well"</P> <P>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Be good, be careful and stay around to write another day! </P>

Vince Suzadail Jr. Date: 1/14/2009 6:43:00 PM What ticks me off is the enforcement of the seat belt law by the same people (liberal judges) who say it's a violation of a person's rights to enforce a helmet law for bikers. Helmets and seat belts are just common sense. Judges are bought and sold. Hopefully some will get the message and you save a life. Great blog. Vince Login to Reply

My generation felt the car was private property like a house and the government shouldn't interfer with what adults did on their own property.
