Solution

As my hands reach out before me It touches nothing but air Where have you gone my love? My heart, it sings for you But you are not there to hear it Where have you gone my love? Have I descended upon the barren moon, Where desert sands seem my outlook? Have I wandered a lonely path, Where night greets me with solitude? Come back, grab my hand, Listen to my heart and then Listen to your heart For it will be then That neither of us will be …alone

This is so heartfelt, Michael. I love the title. Sometimes the best solution is to forget everything else and listen to your heart. Excellent piece! Love, Robin

Hi, Michael! Your poem sets the night on sadness, but hope can never be meaningless! Every day that hope must be kept alive...only then we can believe in miracles! Good luck with your poem and thanks for your commenting on mine. Warms Regards, Andrew.

As I have said again and agian you express romance so well in your writing. It is wonderful to see the hope that true love and romance still exist in the world and the hearts of others, this makes me know I am not alone. This is one of the many reasons you are on my favorite poet list. Thank you for sharing. Smiles from Lolita

Michael I think this poem is one of the best I have read in a while - It touched my soul very deeply and reminds me of when my wife and I first met - And of course the ending is a beautiful reality - God Bless, into my favs, MJ
